Benefits Britain: Life On The Dole

Am currently watching Channel 5's program on living on benefits.

The one thing that has really annoyed me, Labour!

Labour has been around for over a century, and yet still there are the poor.

I am not angry at anyone on this program, in fact, I feel so sorry for them, they've been let down by the people who claim to want to help them the most, Labour!

There's a young man, who was sadly ignored by the bus, and made to walk an extra 7 miles, and then was so nervous forgot what he wanted to say.

I work in a company who is thankfully, still small enough to care for each and every individual. I see young men who come in, looking a mess, can only speak a few words of english, but with the right helping hand, become brilliant young engineers!

I am proud to work with these young men, all from working class, different countries, different religions.

It wasn't Labour who helped them, no, it was a private company, no union backing, wanting to help those who haven't been given the chance.

When Labourites like Owen Jones, claim that the Tories are against the working class, and wanting to turn them against themselves, he hasn't got a clue.

Left-wingers like Owen haven't got a clue because not one of them have actually helped a young individual, like the company I work for, get out the rut they're stuck in and make a go at life.

Anyone can go and interview someone in trouble, but not everyone can help someone in trouble.

Sometimes you have to help yourself, until someone will help you, other times you're noticed before it gets that bad, and sadly sometimes you're never noticed, but I like to think most people are helped.

There hasn't been this many in work since 2005, basically since Labour started to ruin our economy. You can put New, or Old in front of it, you still end up with the same old Labour.

Benefits Britain is thanks to Labour, not to Tories, or capitalism. Capitalism wants people in work, in fact it needs people in work in order to be capitalism, it's socialism which doesn't need you earning.

  1. With regard to socialism, because of its overambitious social policy (e.g., all are equal) it forces everybody to be the same! Indeed, with Labour championing the abolishment of grammar schools, the encouraging of all going to University, etc., it's damaged our economy, and because of this, we're now in a position whence there's too many people, and not enough jobs (lower taxes to improve job. output/input)

A brilliant blog, well written, and thought out
