British Justice: Lee Rigby deserves justice

Britain has a problem, and it’s our justice system.

The defence for the two murderers of Drummer Lee Rigby have said that if they receive a life sentence, it would be an ‘inhumane’ sentencing.

Firstly, the only ‘inhumane’ act so far has been his murder, and the pain these two disgusting human beings have put Lee’s family through, and their own.

Take Stephen Lawrence’s case, a young innocent black man, who was also disgustingly murdered, has shown there is a massive floor in our system. It has taken over 20 years to bring two of his murderers to justice. 

Where’s the justice? Where’s the fairness?

If Lee Rigby’s murderers get away without a life sentence, then it should highlight to the Government how floored our justice system really is.

There needs to an iron fist over our justice system. There needs to be an iron fist working over the police. There needs to be an iron fist that stands for what is right.

Whether you’re black, white, a Christian, a Muslim, or a Sikh, if you have suffered wrong doing, you deserve justice.

I was talking the other about the Harriet Harman scandal, and her affiliation with PIE (Paedophile Information Exchange), as the debate went on someone they claimed:

 ‘Also like it or not even convicted paedophiles deserve human rights’

Here’s where the problem lies. No one is thinking of the victims, or their families, only how the offender is treated.

We need to change how justice is served in this country.

No I don’t want to bring back capital punishment, I want life to mean life, if you are caught, and found guilty of extreme wrong doing.

If you’re not punished, and there is not consequence to your actions, how are you meant to learn wrongs from rights?

How is anyone meant to learn that actions have consequences? 

How Businesses Work: For Dummies

It's amazing, everyday I see left-wing commentators, and MPs telling people how they should run businesses.

Well, as I work in a small company, and have various roles within this company here is a short, easy dummy guide as to what businesses go through everyday:

So, John owns his own Engineering company. He has 20 employees, all of whom are on the books, none of them are sub-contractors.

You have been given 5 different jobs to quote for, what do you need to work out?

1. Labour costs (how long the job will take, and how much per man/ woman)
2. Material costs (so you ask for quotes for your suppliers, then add on whatever your percentage is)
3. Project management time (in other words how long it's taking you to do the quote, and survey)
4. Also Risk Assessment and Method Statement as this all takes up someone else's valuable time therefore they need paying for it

So far we've figured out a good price to pay our employees, and our suppliers, and hopefully we can still make a little profit. However there are a few costs you have forgotten about:

• PAYE
• Quarterly VAT
• Pensions (if you have a scheme going)
• Employers and Employees NI (all of which the owner pays)
• Corporation Tax
• General Rates (light, heating, electricity)
• Fuel Costs
• Council Tax

So let's work out all the costs.

Firstly you've been paid for the job, which you costed at £20,000 including VAT, so that would be £4,000 VAT.

So you've made a nice £16,000 net profit. Oh no you haven't.

You then have to pay your staff, 2 engineers, and 1 Health and Safety manager. You're engineers are both on the same amount which their daily rate is £80.77 (annually £21,000), and it took them 3 days to complete that is £242.31 each, totaling up to £484.62.

You then have to pay your H&S manager, and it took him 4 days to get everything in ready, and make sure they were working in safe environment. Obviously your H&S man will be on a bit more than your engineers, his daily rate is £153.85 (£40,000 annually which is average), £615.40.

Total labour costs for this job totaling up to £1,100.02, making your new net profit £14,899.98.

Now it's time to pay your suppliers for the materials, in total the materials cost you £9,000, which you have to pay in one full swoop now leaving your net total at £5,899.98

Because you have paid your employees you now have to pay PAYE, and NI for paying them. For your H&S manager it's roughly £850 PAYE and NI.

For your engineers it's roughly £650.66 for the PAYE and NI, so you are now taking off another £1500 from your net profit, leaving you with £4,399.98

You now have to pay your council tax, heating bills, fill up your van again, gas bill, electricity bill.

Once all these other bills have been paid you're probably look at a £1,000 net profit. Which you will probably have to put away to pay your corporation tax at the end of the year.

I do hope this clears up any myths about how easy it is to run a small business in the UK.

Education; What we can learn from Benefits Street

If there is one thing every single politician should learn from Benefits Street, is how appalling our education system really is.

7th richest country in the world, and our working classes are finding it hard to get minimal qualifications to get into work at an early age.

There just isn't the support for kids in education anymore. They're too interested in the end results.

New Labour took away the pride of the job, and wanted good stats. They weren't interested in the people behind the stats, just as long as they looked good.

So how did they get the stats looking good? By simplifying our education.

They also took away discipline. Not only from schools, but from the NHS, and work in general.

There is no such thing as discipline anymore. At school if your phone was taken off of you, because that was the policy, your parents could march in and scream at the teacher until they gave it back.

My generation has not learnt that golden rule: Actions have consequences.

I'm not proud to say it, but I took alcohol on a school trip got caught, all I had was a detention, and was 'banned' from any other school trips. Well, until the next one which they allowed me on.

There was no consequence, there was no real telling off, except from my mum who was furious, but the teachers were too scared to tell me off.

Labour has done Britain a massive injustice, by taking away discipline, and simplifying things just to make end results look good.

As the saying goes, look after the pennies, the pounds will look after themselves. We look after our young, they'll have the knowledge to look after their young when their adults.

The Word 'Troll' is over used by the Left-Wing

On Twitter, when I'm enjoying a good debate, and ask a question that, either they don't like, or can't answer, it turns from, a good debate to being called a troll.

Now, there are a good few people on Twitter who are trolls, and I can confirm I am NOT a troll. All I want is a good debate, on how crap everything is in Britain, and how much crap we believe from one politician to another.

I've also noticed, the main people who use the word 'troll' are left-wingers. I've been blocked by Owen Jones, (I think it's because I said about his article in The Independent reaching out to UKIP supporters was sickening, but it is sickening!) and no doubt he thinks I'm a troll.

What right has he got to assume that about me? In fact, I was having a good debate with a supporter of the NHA Party, about Rufus Hound's 'coming out' of wanting to stand as an MEP for the NHA Party, and I was asking questions, then suddenly I was 'trolling' him.

No I wasn't. Suddenly asking genuine questions is thought of as 'trolling'.

As someone who pays my taxes, is interested in what is happening to the country I am living in, I am entitled to ask questions!

I was also blocked by 'Dr' Eoin Clarke after he set his followers on me, and once I pointed this out, he blocked me. Ever so slightly unfair.

Another one was Mark Ferguson, and I don't recall even tweeting him, so not sure why he's blocked me at all.

So what right do any of these have to call me a troll? Where's their Twitter control badge saying that they can freely accuse people daily of being trolls?

Women in Politics

It's still a very male environment, so for a woman to want to become an MP it must be a daunting task.

My MP is Home Secretary Theresa May, I think she's a good MP, and a brilliant Home Secretary. Where I work in Slough, the MP is Fiona MacTaggart, for Labour, I also think she is a brilliant MP.

Yes there is a shortage of women in the front bench. However, I do believe there are more pressing issue's Mr Miliband should be worried about.

For instance the fact that all he can talk about is women in politics, surely is a sign to Labour voters that he's run out of idea's about alternative policies? The fact that the economy is growing, people are being employed, and average wages have stopped falling is a sure sign that this government is working?

If I were a Labour supporter, I'd be reminding Mr Miliband that he only has 15 months in order to sort himself, and his party, out.

Listening to Labour yesterday was like listening to the BBC's employment scheme, boring, pointless, and down right pathetic.

Yes Cameron has a shortage of women within the front bench, I really don't care. Whoever he chooses to get this economy growing again, man or woman, I just hope they put their heads down and get on with the task at hand!

People like Dee White Give Those Who Need Benefits A Bad Name

After watching some of last night's program, Big Benefits Row, I came to two conclusions.

1. Matthew Wright is an awful host (and biased)
2. People like White Dee don't do the people who actually need benefits any justice.

When Channel 4's controversial program, Benefits Street, first aired, there was an absolute uproar from the left.

The left claimed it was an unfair portrayal of people on benefits, which in some circumstances I agree it did, however, after watching Chanel 5's Big Benefits Row, it has highlighted that there are problems with Labour's claims that there is a 'cost of living' crisis.

Firstly, the fact that we have had steady growth, employment has been rising, and average wages have stopped falling, Dee White just proved my point that maybe, some people (NOT ALL!!) on benefits don't manage their money correctly.

Dee White smokes, this is something I have just quit doing myself so I know how expensive cigarettes are, and she  has tattoo's which I have many friends who have them (I maybe the only one without a tattoo) so I know how expensive they are too.

Firstly, if you are that hard up and struck for cash getting a tattoo would be the last thing on my mind. Cigarettes I can understand are hard to kick, however if it came to one my children getting a good meal over my habit? I know for a fact my children would come first.

I know not everyone on benefits smokes, and nor do they all have tattoo's, but people who do claim benefits, and do smoke, and do have tattoo's maybe need to prioritise, and manage their money a little better.

Theresa vs Boris: Who will win

Theresa May and Boris Johnson have been picked as favourites to take over from Cameron as leader of the Conservative Party.

These are two candidates I admire greatly, but I know who'd I'd vote for; Theresa May.

She's feisty, the left don't like her, and she sticks to her guns, and she doesn't mince her words.

I do like Boris Johnson a lot, I met him on the last mayoral election, in his brother's constituency Orpington (his brother being Jo Johnson, another nice bloke.)

And Boris was on his usual good form, as a Labour voter screeched from his car 'F***ing tory scum!' to which Boris replied: 'Your mother said the same thing this morning.'

However, even though Boris is man who says what he feels, and believes what he preaches, he's too much of a liability.

Yes he would be extremely entertaining, but I don't want entertaining, I want someone who will just get on with the job, and for me that person is Theresa. She's been an incredible Home Secretary, one who wants the best for the British people, her achievements include:

1. Gary McKinnon adjournment (under the last Labour govt he would have been deported to the US)
2. Cracking down on terrorists such as Abu Qatada
3. Crack down on anti-social behaviour 
4. Prohibited Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer, who are two American racists, from entering the UK to talk with the EDL (English Defense League)
5. Supporting gay marriage
6. Supporting gay couples adopting (although she was anti this previous to 2010)

She puts her head down and does the job to a brilliant standard.

So, if Cameron steps down after the next election, I do hope she stands for the leadership elections, she's already got my vote.
