Leaders TV Debate Would Destroy Ed

Does Ed Miliband really want to do the leaders debate live on TV? He'll be eaten alive!

If David Cameron is running scared, there is no need, Ed will take all the limelight, but for all the wrong reasons, let's go through the reasons why it will be political suicide for Ed:

1. Freeze the Energy Prices - since Ed said those fatal words 18 months ago energy prices have fallen, e.on prices have fallen by 3.5%

2. Banker Bonus Tax - The tax that keeps on giving! Apparent Ed has a good few ideas on how he can spend the cash from this tax, firstly cutting the deficit, then he'll turn empty shops into community centres, build more homes, regional funding, guarantee jobs for the youth of today.

3. Mansion Tax - According to the newly elected Scottish Labour leader, Jim Murphy, he'll spend the money raised from this tax on getting new nurses before they've even had time to implement the policy.

4. "Labour Demands Inquiry into Cost of Fuel" - That was in December, a month later petrol prices are falling, some garages have even been reported to be selling petrol at less than a pound for the first time in 7 and a half years.

5. Guaranteeing jobs for young people - How? How can you Guarantee a job for one person, let alone for 100,00's of people? You can't force businesses to create jobs that aren't required.

6. How much per week? - Ed hadn't got a clue how much the average family spent per week on groceries, doesn't bode well for a man who wants to be our Prime Minister.

7. No more photo op's please! - Ed claimed last July that he was about "substance and not style", but has since been snapped in many celebrity selfies - Helen Flannagan, Emma Thompson, Joey Essex, Lily Allen, and Eddie Izzard are just to mention a few.

8. "I stood up to Murdoch!" - He proudly declared during his abismal 2014 conference speech, maybe he forgot about the 3 different occasions where he's been happily snapped holding The Sun....

9. AV Referendum - Boy oh boy did he back the losing horse there! The No to AV camp won hands down, but we all know why he backed Yes, to make a rift between Clegg and Cameron, which failed spectacularly.

10. Scotland - in the polls running up to the Independence referendum, Ed was polled lower than David Cameron, despite his party having 41 seats. Now Labour are expected to lose 20 or more seats, oh dear oh dear.

11. Polls - Ed doesn't do to well in his personal ratings with people; the polled him as weird. The only person who could be envious of his ratings is Nick Clegg which really isn't saying much!

12. Weapons of mass NHS! - Ed declared he was going to weaponise the NHS against Cameron and the Tories, when questioned by Andrew Marr whether he said that, all he could come out with was "I can't remember my exact words." What a cop out!
