King Abdullah: The Bloody Tyrant

The King of Saudi Arabia has died.

According to Tony Blair he was "loved by his people, and will be deeply missed."

Mr Cameron said he would be remembered for his "commitment to peace and for strengthening understanding between faiths."

By peace do they mean when he oversaw women beheaded for driving cars, or for being raped?

"Strengthening understanding between faiths"? Really Dave? In Saudi you receive capital punishment for reading the bible, under Sharia Law it's idolatry, not sure that's very understanding of him.

You will receive capital punishment for being homosexual, witchcraft and sorcery (because it's still the 1500's), having sex before marriage, apostasy (disaffiliating from Islam), and many more.

They currently have a blogger in jail, Raif Badawi, who's just received 50 lashes and is expected to receive 950 more once his wounds have heeled enough, for 'insulting Islam'.

Will he be deeply missed? Was he understanding? No, he was a bloody tyrant, and his half brother has vowed to carry on where he's finished.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the people of Saudi Arabia.
