Anders Behring Breivik
Today, Anders Breivik has been deemed sane, and received his sentence of 21 years in jail, for killing 77 innocent people in Norway.
Norway's maximum sentencing for murder is 21 years, so I am glad that he has been given the maximum sentence, and Norway is an extremely proud country and has shown the world just how dignified they are, under such awful circumstances!
However, if Anders behaves himself in prison, he should be out in just ten years time! I am absolutely shocked, and appalled that he is even being given the chance of early release.
This man not only murdered 77 innocent people because he disagrees on their political stance, but majority of these killings were teenagers.
I really think he should have been given 21 years, for each person he killed, which adds up to 1,617 years, Obviously he would never serve that long, but he would at least rot in prison where he belongs, away from society, and all the evil, and damage he can cause.
He has been deemed sane, which he is, he was in a very clear mind, and knew exactly what he was going to do.
So when he leaves prison in ten years, if inmates haven't got to him first, he would be a free man again, having served a small sentence, unlike the family's of the victims who are serving a lifetime sentence, and the people who survived his massacre.
They deserve better than 21 years, maybe 10 on good behaviour.
I do understand that the people of Norway have never had such a massacre in their country before, therefore sentences aren't that big, but this is a special case, and I truly believes it deserves special sentencing.
This man should rot in prison, and never be allowed to call himself a free man!
